Although we specialise in fantastic cupcakes we can also offer the traditional element for weddings - a cutting cake. Our floral Fairy Godmothers have proved a hit time and time again or why not opt for a 6" or 8" design as below?
A darker green and cream was the order of the day for this Cheshire wedding!
Keeley and Neil booked us to cater for their wedding in Didsbury, with a gorgeous colour scheme of pale green, cream and silver we made lemon, vanilla and apple and cinnamon cupcakes, all in silver/chrome coloured cases. The Fairy Godmother was vanilla with a rose style effect and pearlised spray paint plus some lovely rice paper butterflies which also matched the theme.
Keeley provided her own flavour cards to ensure they matched with her other wedding stationery, the overall effect = stunning!
A Bury wedding in July saw us creating Raspberry Ripple, Lemon and Choc-cherry for a lovely venue. We regularly work with The Flower Lounge in Didsbury to provide us with lovely complimentary flowers to 'set off' any cupcake tower. Just let us know when placing the order if you'd like a bit of extra detail to tie in your colour scheme or theme.
Peaches and Cream was the order of the day, with pearls and little lego men cake toppers to make the order truly individual! The colours were a lot softer than shown on the pictures and the overall effect was truly stunning.
Diane asked us to make a tower of simple but effective cupcakes after seeing some she loved, we cut out tiny little hearts and scattered them on top of the cream-topped cupcakes. The effective was delightful in a gorgeous venue.
Gaynor and Stephen are our couple featured on "About us" for the last few months - the Jack Daniels fans who were inventive in asking for JD and coke cupcakes! It took a while to perfect, but a subtle blend was chosen by the bride and groom. The cakes were topped off with quirky cola bottles and they opted for the lovely cupcake wrappers to set the tower of 100 off, at a stunning venue in Liverpool.
Angelina asked us to create a tower of 150 cupcakes for her wedding at the Midland Hotel in Manchester. We used our ten tier stand to show off chocolate cherry, lemon flowers and peach coloured carrot cupcakes.
We were asked to create a Fairy Godmother cutting cake and a number of cupcakes in ivory and gold for a small wedding reception at Christmas. We used edible spray paint to give a vintage effect and added plenty of 'holly' to create a festive but wedding feel.
Nikki and Mike asked us to make 120 Carrot and Vanilla wedding cupcakes, in lilac and cream buttercream, each one was topped off with a little flower, for their reception in Manchester. Nikki also requested their initials to go on the top cakes and for little signs to let guests know the flavours.
Carl and Deborah from Didsbury got married in the lovely Dominican, on their return they through a big party for family and friends and asked us to create a wedding tower of cream and green cupcakes - 150 in total. Thats a lot of cake! Click on the pictures below to view the full tower!
Katie asked us to create 100 Easter themed cupcakes for their Easter Saturday wedding reception. Lemon was the flavour of the day, with chicks and eggs adorning each lemon coloured cupcake. The smell was wonderful. Katie also opted for cupcake wrappers to set the cupcakes off and a giant cupcake, our 'Fairy Godmother' for the cutting cake.
Lauren and Rich contacted us in 2010 with their Wedding cupcake tower request. Their theme was 'English Country Garden' with beautiful butterfly bridesmaid dresses. The clear choice for something different, whilst remaining quintessentially English, was a tower of 110 mini victoria sponge cakes. In addition they had a vegan and two coeliac guests so we packaged their cakes separately. The photos looked beautiful and Lauren and Rich had a wonderful day.
